Currently I am working to be a music teacher through my schools Education Academy, and through that I have been able to teach a wide range of ages which has just been the most fun experience ever! I love all things music and performance. I am a Drum Major at my school, and wanting to go into flute performance and education. So far my favorite thing about performing is seeing the kiddo’s faces when they get to meet their princess!

Throughout my time in college, I have become very invested in writing poetry, and I even published two of my poems! Sometimes I think writing takes up more of my time than school or work! My favorite part of performing is doing all of the research about the character in order to bring them to life as accurately as possible!

Performing has always been a passion of mine, and I love using song and dance to bring magic and confidence to others. I enjoy playing the flute in my school band and I also love doing musical theater at The Rose Theater, which has helped shape my love for storytelling and performance. Hi there! I’m Kaitlyn Severson. I currently attend UNO for theatre and music. I am a dance teacher at Bellevue Dance Academy, where I get to teach the best kids! I love animals, and I have a silly cat named Allo. I love singing, performing, dancing, reading, and working out. I became a performer because I love bringing other people joy through theatre and princess-ing. My favorite part of performing is the moment a kid’s face lights up when they see their favorite princess in front of them.

I recently graduated from Creighton University for Musical Theatre and minor in Business Administration! In my spare time I will probably either be listening to Taylor Swift or watching New Girl at home. I have been performing since middle school and princess performing since high school. I love being a special memory for a kid to have! Meeting a princess is a truly magical thing and it's been so fun to help create that magic.

I’m currently a student at Millard North High School & a part of many activities in school, including show choir, theatre, and choir. Outside of school, I also enjoy being involved in the A Capella Group SNJ Singers, and am a vocalist in Blues Ed. I started performing because of the first time I saw people performing on stage and bringing joy to all around them. I am currently the lead teacher of an elementary school ACP (Alternative curriculum program) and love being active in my students' extracurriculars. I have a busy household, full of plants, dogs, an aquarium, a bearded dragon, and a cat. I love my little zoo! Guess you could say my hobby is living things. I perform because I love to sing, dance, and act. It lets me be in another world for awhile.

I enjoy any and all opportunities to wear themed outfits, including; holidays, dance parties, comic-con, or special event work days. I was heavily involved in theatre during high school, that’s where I developed my love for performing/ working behind the scenes. I love watching all the hard work come together and bringing people joy. I still feed that love of the arts with musicals and broadway shows that come to Omaha.
